Mitch Richardson – Territory Manager
What I enjoy most about working at Arthrex St. Louis is knowing the work I do every day directly impacts patient care. Whether it’s helping a surgeon through a critical moment in the operating room or explaining the ‘why’ behind what we’re doing to a nurse, I get to be part of improving outcomes in a very real way.
In the OR, my role blends consulting with service. I know my products inside and out — their strengths, limitations, and nuances — and I use that knowledge along with each surgeon’s preferences to anticipate needs before they arise. That preparation keeps surgeries running smoothly, reduces downtime and costs, and sometimes even helps a surgeon get home to their family sooner.
What makes Arthrex St. Louis special is the unmatched support from leadership and the constant drive for innovation. From new product launches to hands-on collaboration and cadaver labs, we’re always finding better ways to help surgeons treat patients better. It’s a place where hard work is recognized, growth is encouraged, and we’re given every tool we need to succeed.
The part I’m most proud of is the impact I have behind the scenes. I may never meet the patients, but when I run into someone who’s been operated on by one of my surgeons — and I know I was in the room helping that day — it’s a powerful reminder of why I do what I do.
Alex Letteu – Biologics Manager
At Arthrex St. Louis, I feel like I’m part of a family — one that works together, supports each other’s success, and still has that friendly competition that pushes us to grow. It’s a place where hard work is recognized, where opportunities for advancement are real, and where leadership, especially John Purcell, gives us every tool we need to succeed. His support is unmatched, and I couldn’t imagine working for anyone else.
What drives me every day is knowing that the work we do directly impacts patients’ lives. Our mission to help surgeons treat patients better gives me a deep sense of fulfillment and pride. Through rapid product development, immersive hands-on labs, and cadaver-based trainings, we’re able to provide surgeons with the latest techniques and technology — and the feedback we receive from them fuels even more innovation.
For me, it’s not just about selling products. I’m proud to build long-term relationships with surgeons, understanding their specific needs, challenges, and goals so I can recommend the right solutions to improve outcomes. That trust means everything. At the end of the day, they know my advice always has the patient’s best interest at heart — and that’s what makes this work so meaningful.
Drew Miller – Area Manager
As a former athlete at the University of Florida, I had the privilege of competing at the highest level and achieving the ultimate goal — a National Championship. That experience taught me the value of focus, constant improvement, and pushing toward big goals. After a few years in the NFL, I wanted a career that still offered that same competitive, goal-oriented environment.
Arthrex St. Louis has given me exactly that and more. The leadership here supports, encourages, and challenges us to be our best. It’s a place where hard work is recognized, growth is encouraged, and you’re surrounded by people who want to win as a team.
For my first “real job” after football, I couldn’t imagine a better fit. Arthrex St. Louis provides the perfect opportunity to learn, grow, and compete — all within a culture built on collaboration and shared success.
Emily Lock – Technology Specialist
As a certified athletic trainer, I was looking for a way to stay in the medical field and continue making an impact on patients’ lives, and Arthrex St. Louis was the perfect fit. In my role as a Technology Specialist, I’m in the OR helping surgeons and surgical staff navigate procedures, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure they have exactly what they need. It’s rewarding to know that the work I do directly supports better patient outcomes.
One of the things I’ve valued most here is the opportunity to keep learning. Arthrex is always introducing new technology, techniques, and products, which keeps the job exciting and challenges me to grow. Along the way, I’ve had some incredible mentors who have shared their knowledge, offered guidance, and created a positive environment to develop my skills and confidence.
What really stands out at Arthrex St. Louis is the team. People are always ready to jump in, lend a hand, celebrate wins, and push each other to improve. It’s a culture built on collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to doing our best.
